One of the best (proper) Chinese restaurants I've tried around the bay! Lots of options on the menu, huuuuuge place tho can be loud. There's an event on the other half of the restaurants which makes it extra loud. Food were tasty, not the typical Chinese take out food and I like that they're open for customizations on your food. Would definitely visit again. Desserts on the house coz they want us to try their tapioca dessert which we weren't realy on board before. It was okay.

I'm not sure why this place has low ratings but I am giving it a 4 because I've had fancier dim sum not in the America though. Anyways, I am overall impressed with this place. It's huge, clean, bright, nicely spaced out. You order on a piece of paper so it's made fresh unlike pushing carts. The food doesn't take too long to come either. The spring rolls are crispy as it should be and yes I've tried many dim sum restaurants where the fried items are not crunchy/freshly made/hot. I'm always looking for chiu chow fun guo dumplings which is so hard to find and done right with the classic ingredients, peanuts, pork, chives, chestnuts etc. They did a great job with this, it was big and has all the fillings I mentioned plus fish roe on the outside as garnish. They had some pretty unique dim sum items like the purple rice roll with fried dough stuffed with shrimp. That was delicious and my favorite, it's like eating the dough fitter with rice roll plus shrimp balls all in one dish. Service was good for us just a bit hard to flag someone down since they weren't around. We even asked for a container for the leftover chili sauce and the waiter said he'd bring us a new container to go instead. One waitress was even careful to cover our spring rolls while she cut them in case it goes onto the table as customers demand a new one. I was expecting to pay a lot but I paid the similar price for below mediocre dim sum restaurants so it was decent. I am definitely coming back!

Food is good here. Definitely on the pricier side for dim sum, however that is expected. The dumplings were all great and had great flavor and texture. The suckling pork was good, however for $32 was not worth the money. There was not that much of it. I highly recommend the congee as it was delicious. And was something that was easy to eat as I had just recently had dental surgery. This is my 2nd time at this location, and probably 5-6th at an HL Peninsula in general, and I always enjoy my time and the food at their locations.

Okay, this might be the hot dim sum spot! This place is huuuge. Possibly 500+ people so you won't be needing a reservation for dim sum. The place does have private rooms for your party. Every single item we ordered was good. No complaints on my end. Will definitely need to come back and try their other items on their large menu.
